Kelly Caron Designs – Tucked into the Lowcountry of South Carolina, Kelly Caron Designs has flourished on the coast, but is rooted in a small North Carolina mountain town. Originally from Boone, North Carolina, Kelly, the creative mind behind Kelly Caron Designs and Kelly Caron curated, spent much of her childhood vacationing in the Bluffton/Hilton Head and Sea Island areas. Later, as an art student, Kelly found herself inspired by the home aesthetic—nurturing her passion for finding, blending, and perfectly tailoring home details while working with homeowners and fellow industry business owners. And while she adores her mountain roots, the love for the Lowcountry never left her.
Driven by her entrepreneurial spirit, passion for home design, and creating a beautiful aesthetic, Kelly traded the high country for the Lowcountry—moving to Bluffton and immediately setting a new standard. Using her background as an art student coupled with her business savvy, she created a unique studio model and founded Kelly Caron Designs in 2015—slowly adding design partners and discovering the rewards of leading, innovating, and building an impactful business.
Known for traditional Lowcountry interiors infused with modern coastal design inspired by nature, the company’s portfolio is a direct reflection of its namesake’s Southern background. Connecting the majestic mountains of the high country to the serene, coastal waterways of the Lowcountry, nature is Kelly’s ultimate inspiration—with its colors and textures, and how they shift on the journey from mountains to the coast, influencing her design style. Residential to commercial, her home designs often feature palettes inspired by the authentic beauty of the Lowcountry: from coastal water views and moss-draped live oak trees to the magical interaction that happens in iconic old town squares and wrap-around porches that are hallmarks of the South.
