Sarah Means, one of the founders of Miron Crosby, a luxury boot brand, completed her stay in the Artist Cottage as our Artist in Residence for October. Miron Crosby is inspired by the sisters’ experiences of growing up on their family’s West Texas cattle ranch, and later living and working in New York City. The sisters, who live and work in Dallas, design the boots and send them to New York City to be finished entirely by hand.
From the wild wild West to the hot hot Lowcountry, Miron Crosby brought their cowboy flair (plus quite a few dreamy boots) to the Artist Cottage. Guests enjoyed a Meet+Greet and trunk show, gallery hours, plus workshops including “Lessons in Leather” and “Boot Design 101” (our kind of class!). And yes, we are still dreaming about ALL. THOSE. BOOTS.
