Longfield Stables at Palmetto Bluff is thrilled to welcome Julien Beaugnon as the new Equestrian Director. With over 30 years of experience as an equestrian instructor, trainer, and manager, Julien’s journey is a testament to his passion, dedication, and strong bond with horses. His story begins with his upbringing in Paris, France, where he was surrounded by a family of horse riders. From a young age, he developed a natural and profound connection with horses that grew from a hobby into a calling and career.
Julien embraced his love for horses and immersed himself in the intricate world of the French riding system. He quickly made a name for himself as a skilled equestrian, competing in disciplines like eventing and jumping. His equestrian journey took an exciting turn when he ventured into the world of Horseball. For those unfamiliar with the sport, Horseball is a thrilling equestrian team sport that combines elements of rugby, basketball, and equestrian riding. Julien’s skills in Horseball were nothing short of extraordinary, and his team emerged as champions, winning the World Championship title.

Beyond his impressive list of accomplishments, what truly sets Julien apart is his guiding principle of empathy and respect. Whether working with horses or riders, he approaches each interaction with a deep understanding of the needs, emotions, and boundaries of both partners. The Longfield Stables team is delighted to have his vast expertise and compassion leading the Bluff’s equine community.
