A Charlestonian and former commercial fisherman, Captain Herb Rennard had a vast knowledge of the sea, and he loved his role as boat captain of the Grace.
Upon hearing of Captain Herb Rennard‘s passing earlier this month, we went back through years of photo and video footage and realized Herb “starred” in so much of our marketing.
Four years ago, filmmaker Peyton Lea, documented the year-long restoration of Grace, traveling back and forth to North Carolina with Herb and Captain Ed. Peyton pulled together this beautiful tribute to Herb.
