Tracy’s Journey to Palmetto Bluff Real Estate

Situated in the heart of Bluffton, South Carolina, Palmetto Bluff is more than just a community—it’s a place of magic and wonder. For Tracy Schyberg, a dedicated sales executive with the Palmetto Bluff Real Estate Company, this enchanting community has been the backdrop to some of her most cherished memories. Tracy’s story is a testament to the allure of Palmetto Bluff and the commitment of its real estate team to creating a haven for residents.

In this edition of Behind the Bluff, let’s explore how Tracy’s journey led her to the Bluff and what she has planned for the future.

A Rich Professional Background

Tracy grew up in Savannah and graduated from Georgia Southern University with a BS in hospitality and a minor in business. Her background in corporate sales with Hyatt and pharmaceutical sales with Abbott has helped her become a successful sales executive—earning her “Top Producer” awards for multiple years with a previous firm.

Tracy joined Palmetto Bluff Real Estate Company in 2019, where she has established herself as a well-respected and innovative sales executive. A conscientious Realtor who exudes credibility, commitment, and determination, her passion for real estate is apparent through her excellent communication skills and a warm and friendly approach.

How Tracy Discovered Palmetto Bluff

Tracy’s familiarity with Palmetto Bluff began in 2007 when she and her husband, Jeff, would drive from Savannah to dine at the Inn. “Jeff said there is this great place in Bluffton. I have to take you,” Tracy recalls. The moment she arrived, she was captivated by its beauty. The couple’s connection to Palmetto Bluff deepened when Jeff proposed there, and they were married in the chapel in 2008. A memorable day for Tracy was when, during their wedding, Jeff briefly slipped away with a real estate agent to purchase a property. They finalized their purchase that same year, and ten years later, they made Palmetto Bluff their permanent home.

A Dedicated Real Estate Team

The bond between Tracy and Palmetto Bluff is mirrored in the dedication of the real estate team. “The real estate team at Palmetto Bluff is an unbelievably talented great group to work with,” says Tracy. She emphasizes the team’s commitment to prioritizing the needs of buyers and sellers. “Each and every one of us truly wants what works best for both sides of any real estate transaction. It’s not about what is best for us but what is best for the people we represent.” This ethos reflects a deep love for Palmetto Bluff and a genuine desire to see its residents happy.

The Magic of Palmetto Bluff

Describing Palmetto Bluff, Tracy uses the word “magical.” She explains, “There is no other place like it. It is a place, not a project, full of beauty and experiences around every corner.” This sentiment is echoed in the unique aspects that set Palmetto Bluff apart from other communities. Its commitment to nature and outdoor activities offers residents a lifestyle beyond the typical golf community. The options are endless, from biking and walking on miles of paths to kayaking the inland water trail or May River.

Sharing the Joy of Homeownership

Tracy’s greatest achievement as a Palmetto Bluff real estate sales executive is witnessing the joy of new homeowners. “We are blessed to live in such a place, and I have a great sense of achievement when I can share it with new property owners,” she says. Her pride as a homeowner is evident in her work, influencing her dedication and passion in every transaction. “I believe that is easily read when working with buyers and sellers,” she adds.

Making Dreams Come True

What Tracy enjoys most about her job is helping people’s dreams come true. “The community enamors most buyers in Palmetto Bluff and can only dream of living here. When I make that a reality, it is very rewarding,” she shares. Looking ahead, Tracy is excited about the future of Palmetto Bluff. She anticipates the community will evolve with new and improved amenities, enhancing the experience for everyone.

She highlights her strong bond with her colleagues, describing them as family. “A memory that truly sticks out is the love and support received during an unexpected medical emergency. My work family was amazing, and I will never forget it,” she recounts.

Tracy and her family have their favorite spots to enjoy Palmetto Bluff. “We love to eat at Fore and Aft by the water, and the Flame food truck is great. The view from the Moreland pool deck over the marsh is a great spot to take it all in, as are the rocking chairs on the bridge going to the cottages. There are so many beautiful spots!”
