The renowned Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Parade is just a short 30-minute drive from Palmetto Bluff. This iconic event is a highlight in the city’s calendar, drawing participants and spectators from around the Lowcountry. 

This parade, featuring a vibrant display of Irish heritage, captivating marching bands, traditional dancers, and elaborate floats, is a testament to Savannah’s rich cultural tapestry. 4. RBC Heritage

Hilton Head Island | April 14-20, 2025

Get ready for an unforgettable celebration of community at the 2025 RBC Heritage! Tickets go on sale soon, so mark your calendars for a week-long festival that brings together friends and family, golf enthusiasts and players, visitors, and neighbors. The RBC Heritage is not just a golf tournament; it’s a generosity-fueled fundraiser, and a significant portion of the proceeds will directly benefit the local community.

Renowned for its Signature Event status, the RBC Heritage attracts the best golfers of the PGA Tour, ensuring a spectacular showcase of golfing prowess. Prepare to witness a thrilling competition featuring some of the best golfers on the circuit, including defending champion Scottie Scheffler. Originating almost 45 years ago, this beloved festival, orchestrated by The Rotary Club of Bluffton, has become a staple in the community. The festival hosted at Martin Family Park, Dubois Park, and Heyward House offers a fantastic family-friendly experience with local food vendors and artists.

The festivities include cherished events like the pie eating contest at Dubois Park Pavilion and the entertaining ugly dog competition at Heyward House. Accompanied by live music, Mayfest 2025 promises a day filled with fun, games, and a celebration of community spirit.

6. Stars & Stripes Party

Palmetto Bluff Club | July 4, 2025

Kick off Independence Day celebrations with the Stars & Stripes Party at Palmetto Bluff Club— an exclusive, member-only event. This family-friendly event is the epitome of American pride and camaraderie. Residents don their finest red, white, and blue attire as they gather with their Palmetto Bluff Club neighbors for a Fourth of July evening of pure revelry. Attendees savor delectable All-American cuisine that pays homage to the flavors that define this beloved nation, while laughter and conversation fill the air. Member events like the Stars & Stripes Party forge lasting connections with fellow members, embracing the warmth of the community.

7. FLOW FEST 

Boathouse Lawn | September 27, 2025

This year’s FLOW FEST brings the Lowcountry to life with a full day of vibrant events and an inspiring lineup of musical performances and art on Boathouse Lawn. The festival offers a creative journey to enjoy throughout the day, with music and imaginative artwork from some of the South’s best artists. FLOW FEST seeks to make a positive impact by engaging young attendees with entertaining activities. 8. May River Classic

Palmetto Bluff | November 1, 2025

Taking place at Longfield Stables, the May River Classic Horse Show will showcase equestrian competitions across various disciplines and include a special ceremony dedicated to honoring our veterans. For an elevated experience, Palmetto Bluff Club members can access a VIP area, which offers either tables of eight or individual tickets. This VIP experience includes a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, a thoughtfully curated menu featuring breakfast and lunch options, and personalized tableside bar service throughout the show’s main events.

9. Buffalo Run 

Palmetto Bluff | December 14, 2025

Wrap up the year with the Buffalo Run! The 6.2-mile route travels deep within Palmetto Bluff’s historic woodlands and weaves throughout the property. With thousands of acres and miles of river and marsh, outdoor pursuits are a treasured value at Palmetto Bluff.

The Buffalo Run is a trail run like no other. You can choose between a 10K, 30K, or even a 50K mapped out by the Palmetto Bluff Conservancy team, followed by live entertainment and delicious food and drinks.
