HIKING? BIKING? GOLFING? FISHING?

Our guides are contagious with their knowledge and passion — and driven to inspire you to immerse within the environment. There is no better place to have fun than the water, marsh and woods of the Lowcountry.

Explore the Land

Take a Hike or Ride a Bike

Palmetto Bluff’s expansive trail system provides even more opportunity to explore and discover the enormity of our 20,000 acres. Hop on a bike, ride a horse or go by foot on trails that crisscross the property and connect the residential neighborhood to parks, recreational activities and the villages. If you’re feeling adventurous — or just need to cool off — explore our water trails by kayak or canoe or take a refreshing dip in the May River.

Hunting & Shooting

The Sport of Sporting Clays

Hunting and shooting sports have been a long-standing tradition at Palmetto Bluff for years (if not centuries). The Palmetto Bluff Shooting Club features two sporting clay courses winding through an expansive 40-acre hardwood bottom. An elevated and covered five-stand station, plus a wobble deck field.

Along with the lawns, the expansive club facility includes eight Har-Tru tennis courts, six pickleball courts, two bocce courts, four courtside shelters and a well-equipped pro shop and pavilion.

Golf at Palmetto Bluff

At Palmetto Bluff, every course tells its own story—each shaped by the land, the Lowcountry’s natural beauty, and the vision of the game’s most respected architects. From Jack Nicklaus’s signature design at May River to the inventive King-Collins reversible course and the Coore & Crenshaw masterpiece at Anson Point, golf here is more than a pastime—it’s an experience rooted in craftsmanship, creativity, and connection to place. Across three distinctive courses, every detail has been considered, every contour intentional, and every round an invitation to discover something new.
