Trigger Happy

Welcome to the boundless joys of five stand, trap and skeet, sporting clays, and so much more.

The Palmetto Bluff Shooting Club

Aims to Please

Hunting and shooting sports have been a long-standing tradition at Palmetto Bluff. An integral part of Lowcountry culture for years (if not centuries), these sporting pursuits provide daily adventure here. The Palmetto Bluff Shooting Club, stretching out across an expansive 120-acre plantation pine to hardwood bottom ecosystem, challenges members with a staggering array of offerings.

The member-favorite amenity boasts: a 20-station Sporting Clays Course; a 6-Station Super Sport Course; a Trap and Skeet field; covered 5-Stands; a FITASC Field; and a simulated Quail Walk. In addition, you’ll find a 20-station Simulated Archery Hunting course for die hard bow buffs, as well as .22 rifle and ax throwing stations. Our NSCA-certified instructors offer daily lessons and monthly clinics, and host special events and occasional tournaments throughout the year.

A word from

Andrew Dunne, Manager of the Shooting Club

“As part of the Shooting Club’s original team, I’ve envisioned making this the most sought-after Shooting Club in the south. Today, I think we’re well on our way to becoming one of the best private Shooting Clubs in America.”

A DEVOTION TO OUR

Target Market

A dedication to becoming one of the top clubs in the nation informs everything available here. Our team is proud to offer almost every discipline in the sporting clay world. The course, itself, features multiple shooting level setups so that experts and novices can tackle the challenges together. Plus, with the use of towers, blinds, machines, and trails, we’re able to simulate upland and fowl hunts for members. Our NSCA-certified instructors are on-site for lessons in every discipline and can personalize a program specific to each member’s needs.

Home, Skeet Home

With the opening of our new clubhouse, Shooting Club members now have a place to gather, kick back, swap tips, and share their love of the sport. The venue was created to serve as a hospitality suite offering drinks and snacks along with a lounge to accommodate a growing roster of beloved member events. Calendars will fill quickly with programming such as Happy Hours, ladies' Shells and Chardonnay Clinics, and simulated duck and quail hunts.
