This year’s FLOW FEST was an unforgettable celebration of art, music, and community spirit. Held on a stunning autumn afternoon by the May River, our third annual arts and music festival, hosted by The Arts Initiative at Palmetto Bluff, brought together friends and families for an exhilarating experience filled with lively performances, delectable food, and a showcase of talented artisans.

FLOW FEST kicked off with infectious energy as local favorites Deas Guyz took the stage, followed by the funky beats of Charleston-based Motown band The Secrets. Their toe-tapping tunes filled the air and had everyone dancing. In our artisan market, over 20 southern artisans showcased their works of unique masterpieces and creations. FLOW FEST attendees enjoyed shopping, talking with artists, and discovering one-of-a-kind pieces to take home.

Guests savored mouth-watering treats from local food trucks and enjoyed complimentary samples from our tasting partners, including Palmetto Bluff’s Sweet Melissa, River Dog Brewing Company, and Bee Town Mead and Cider. Our younger FLOW FEST-ers had a blast with fun arts and crafts activities, making it a family-friendly event that everyone could enjoy.

We are proud to share that a portion of sales from FLOW FEST will be donated to the Palmetto Bluff Inspiring the Arts Scholarship, supporting talented high school seniors in our community who demonstrate exceptional skill and dedication to the arts. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of FLOW FEST 2024. Your enthusiasm and support make these events possible, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s festivities!
