Take a closer look at the artistry and intention behind the new Coore & Crenshaw golf course coming to life in Anson. In this exclusive video, hear directly from Ben Crenshaw as he shares how each hole was thoughtfully designed to offer a unique experience, all while fitting seamlessly into a masterful overall routing. “Each individual hole has its own look… the way that Bill routed the network of the holes—it is so good.”
Set within the picturesque Lowcountry of Bluffton, South Carolina, this 18-hole course promises a harmonious fusion of diverse native landscapes. From upland pine and maritime forests to groves of live oaks and stands of salt palmettos, every element has been carefully considered to create a golfing experience that is both immersive and challenging. Designed by the renowned team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, the course is scheduled to open in winter 2025–2026 and will offer Palmetto Bluff Golf Club Members a dynamic new way to connect with the land—and the game.
