Welcome to
River Road
Your connection to the 120-acre River Road Preserve.
An extension of Wilson Village, the River Road neighborhood continues the established character of Wilson Village while also being adjacent to the 120-acre River Road Preserve. More classic, period details give the architecture a slightly more formal feel in this neighborhood. Known as the Garden District of Palmetto Bluff, the River Road neighborhood was thoughtfully designed to incorporate community green spaces, staying true to the Lowcountry landscape and integrating the natural environment into the neighborhood.
Conveniently located between Wilson and Moreland villages, River Road is home to a community garden, Cove Park and The Lodge, a members-only amenity with a fitness center, a playground, a dog park, a lounge area and a zero-entry pool along the banks of the inland waterway.
River Road
Architecture
A bridge between the two major villages, River Road embraces a slightly more formal and classic nature. Still within the confines of Lowcountry architecture, this neighborhood reflects inspiration from historical periods of architecture and is influenced by homes in Charleston and Savannah. Symmetry, rhythm and classic proportions reflect the beauty and history of great Southern architecture. This classicism and formality extend into the landscape designs and manicured gardens.
