Brown Bag Lunch: Dolphins

June 25 | 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

With 150 local, full-time residents in Beaufort County, the Atlantic bottlenose dolphin is one of the most common oceanic species seen in our area. Dolphins are mammals and are noted for their intelligence and learning abilities, which means you’ve likely seen them playing or feeding in the May River. Join Cassie Critchlow, the Montage Naturalist, as she guides us through the life cycle and anatomy of bottlenose dolphins as well as the famous feeding method, strand feeding, which is unique to the Lowcountry.

Walk-ins welcome.
