The squares are filled with beautiful oak trees draped in Spanish moss, picturesque fountains, and historic monuments. Forsyth Park, one of the most popular squares, is home to a beautiful fountain that was built in 1858 and is one of the most iconic symbols of Savannah.

Explore the Riverfront

After strolling through the historic district, head to River Street, which runs along the Savannah River. Here, you’ll find a bustling waterfront filled with restaurants, shops, and entertainment.
