Three best friends teamed up to bring interest, freshness and playfulness back to the world of soda and in 2011, it all came together. With the help of Lowcountry farmers, each soda from Cannonborough Beverage Co. contains pressed local juices, herbs and fruits that bring soda back to its natural – and Southern – roots.
On Monday, March 19th, Mick Matricciano of Cannonborough Beverage Co. will join us at the Artist Cottage for a week of soda making (and mixing) fun. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Mick will host a Meet + Greet at the Artist Cottage. Guests can taste the company’s products and learn about the team’s process. We’ve even used their local sodas to make a specialty cocktail you won’t want to miss.
On Thursday, Mick will host a Tom Collins Master Class from 5 – 7 p.m. Guests will sip their way through the history of the collins cocktail – a swirl of fresh juice, sugar, spirit and soda. On Friday, be sure to sign up for Soda School. Guests will get to play soda jerk with the Cannonborough crew, learning step by step how to bottle their own all-natural soft drinks.
From Tuesday through Friday, Mick will host Gallery Hours from 10 a.m. to noon for members and guests to stop by, learn more about Mick and the Cannonborough team and taste some of these deliciously refreshing drinks.
