On July 19, we are excited to welcome our next Artists in Residence, Carlene Browner and Cassandra Browner Richardson of BR Design Co., to Palmetto Bluff. Based in Charleston, South Carolina, the sisters create unique polymer clay jewelry and accessories using techniques their mother taught them when they were young. Respectively a first-grade teacher and a nurse by day, the duo launched their business in 2007, dying, rolling, cutting, firing, sanding, and buffing each piece by hand.

Recently featured on the TODAY Show, Cosmopolitan, and on POPSUGAR, these sisters are taking the design world by storm and offering workshop attendees the unique opportunity to create their own jewelry under their instruction.
