We welcomed our first August Artist in Residence, Cassandra King Conroy, to the Artist Cottage last week. A bestselling novelist whose stories have won the hearts of readers everywhere and recipient of the 2020 Southern Book Prize, Cassandra spent the week with guests helping them with their own writing process and discussing her latest book, Tell Me a Story: My Life with Pat Conroy.
A true Southern storyteller, Cassandra spent the week at Palmetto Bluff chatting about her writing process and her life with iconic southern writer Pat Conroy. Guests enjoyed a Meet+Greet, Gallery Hours, and workshops where they learned the art of storytelling and participated in a Book Club discussion and lunch.
