First Friday Lecture: Grace – The Century-Old Crown Jewel of Palmetto Bluff

February 6 | 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Grace is more than just a boat – she is a survivor. Built in 1913, this elegant 60-foot wooden motor yacht is one of the last remaining pre-World War I yachts still in operation today. Over the course of her remarkable life, Grace has faced – and overcome – Father Time, neglect, financial hardships, and most recently Mother Nature. Join Gray Stahlman, Grace’s historian, for a captivating journey through the life and lives of Grace, from her early days cruising New York Harbor to her present role as the treasured crown jewel of Palmetto Bluff.

Autographed copies of the recently published biography Grace Lives will be available for purchase at the event. All proceeds support Grace’s ongoing preservation and care.

Walk-ins welcome.
