Brown Bag Lunch: American Woodcock

January 21 | 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

American woodcocks are a secretive but very interesting bird that make their home across Sout Carolina. They are unique birds with wild adaptations and live in unusual environments. They dance on the ground year-round and can be seen doing their sky dances in the cool spring evenings. A great deal of research has happened in the last few years, including right here in SC and so for this presentation we will look at their biology and the research surrounding these birds.

Walk-ins welcome.
