On July 11th Palmetto Bluff's Music to Your Mouth team packed their bags (and their large appetites) and headed north to Washington, D.C. for a five-course paired wine dinner at D.C.'s newest hotspot, The Dabney.

Chef Drew Dzejak of Palmetto Bluff and Chef Jeremiah Langhorne of The Dabney teamed up to throw down five of the most scrumptious courses to some lucky D.C. diners. Chef Jeremiah specializes in Mid-Atlantic cuisine, bringing flavor and flair to this under-utilized region of Southern food, while Chef Drew brought with him a taste of the Lowcountry to create a bounty of beautiful, delicious food. The Dabney was also recently recognized by Food and Wine magazine for being one of the 10 best new restaurants in the U.S., so that got the team a bit excited, too. With full bellies and new friends, the Music to Your Mouth team decided D.C. has become its second favorite place -- next to the Bluff, of course.
