Written by Palmetto Bluff

On May 17, we are excited to welcome our May Artist in Residence, Annie Moran, an artist and designer whose work celebrates the nature and culture of her native Louisiana. While her primary focus is in watercolor painting, mural arts, and wallpaper and textile design, she also creates jewelry, accessories, and apparel. Born and raised in central Louisiana, Annie received her BFA from Louisiana State University and worked in New York City for twelve years. Back home in New Orleans, Annie now creates universally appealing works of art surrounded by the people and the landscapes that inspire her most.

Stop by the Artist Cottage to chat with Annie, learn the basics of painting landscapes with watercolor, and practice sketching nature. View the full lineup of events.
