We love many things at the Bluff — the way the Spanish moss drifts lazily off hundred-year-old live oaks, the sparkle of the sunlight dancing off the May River at dawn, the scent of salt and marsh that pungently permeates throughout the community — oh, and how a cocktail on the porch can erase the stress of any day.
As porching is a verb at the Bluff — no really, we list it as an activity, and rightly so — we take our porching rituals seriously, and the cocktails that accompany this sacred time are just as significant. If taking a load off and sitting a spell is just what the doctor ordered, then you’ve come to the right place. Mosey on over to the River House porch for a refreshing Spicy Mint Watermelon Margarita made especially for our Bluff guests. With the sweet juices from a summer watermelon and the bite of a dash of red chili powder, this margarita will be the perfect punctuation to your afternoon of porching. And once you become hooked on the tangy, piquant flavors of this margarita, you’ll definitely want to make it at home.
From all of us at the Bluff, cheers.
