On July 5th, the Palmetto Bluff Conservancy will partner with South Carolina 250 (SC250) to mark the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution with a special walking tour honoring Beaufort County’s often-overlooked role in the war. Led by archaeologist Katie Epps, the 1.8-mile tour will guide attendees through Palmetto Bluff’s historic cemeteries while exploring the region’s deep—and sometimes violent—ties to America’s fight for independence.

This special event costs $40 per person and proceeds will be used for cemetery restoration work in Palmetto Bluff cemeteries. Space is limited. To register, email info@pbconservancy.org.
