A feast for the eyes
The Lowcountry is home to an extraordinarily diverse cast of artisans, musicians and performers. Countless blues, jazz, Southern rock, Lowcountry stomp and bluegrass concerts have graced our community, and we aim to keep the performances coming to both large and small venues throughout the year. Our monthly Artist in Residence program invites artisans to stay at Palmetto Bluff for one week to lead workshops and host gallery chats to teach the process of their craft. This curated collection of personalities brings the spirit and culture of the Lowcountry to the Bluff each and every day.

Unleash your own vision
Nothing helps you appreciate art more than becoming an active participant. We build opportunities for residents and guests to meet artists and learn from them through workshops, lectures and classes, field trips and more. Expose your senses to artistic experiences from throughout the region. Check in at The History Center in Wilson Village to learn more about and register for upcoming events that may interest you.

Artist in Residence
Cultivating arts and experiences.
The Artist in Residence program is a collaboration between Garden & Gun and Palmetto Bluff that celebrates the arts, fosters creativity, and offers a hands-on education. The annual program invites notable artists, including winners of G&G’s Made in the South Awards, to stay in the Artist Cottage in Palmetto Bluff’s newly constructed Moreland Village.
