He will then demonstrate the knife creation process, from flattening the steel to stock removal and forging, with detailed explanations of every phase. Focusing on knife handles and other details, part two of this course continues the work Middleton began in the first workshop. The craftsman will walk guests through the creation of the handle and the benefits and drawbacks of numerous design styles. Finally, Middleton will demonstrate how to shape the handle and grind the bevels to make the blade of the knife sharp.
