JOB SUMMARY:
The Digital Marketing Manager is a key member of the Palmetto Bluff marketing team and will manage and execute a wide range of digital projects and tasks in efforts to service marketing, real estate sales and club components of Palmetto Bluff Real Estate and the Palmetto Bluff Club. This position will be responsible for email, development and maintenance, advertising and other digital marketing strategies set forth by the Director of Marketing. Working extensively within the Palmetto Bluff websites, you will be the in-house expert. This role will require development, modifications and maintenance of a legacy system as well as industry standard platforms. Candidate should have a very strong HTML/CSS background and must possess the ability to navigate front-end design and general back-end programming effortlessly. The candidate will manage our email marketing strategy and program emails while maintaining design best practices and reporting. The Digital Marketing Manager will work heavily in database systems such as Hubspot, Brightdoor, and Salesforce. This position works closely with in-house team as well as agency partners to produce a number of marketing materials to accomplish overall goals. The candidate must have great project management skills, rigorous attention to detail and a positive, get it done attitude.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Oversee websites including all development, optimization, and maintenance initiatives.
    • Develop webpages for new content and landing pages for advertisement, or work with agencies to implement.
    • Update existing content through website CMS including content, images, video, etc. with additional emphasis towards improving UI/UX and conversion.
    • Manage Google Analytics and provide dashboard reporting on a monthly basis.
  • Manage and execute ongoing digital tasks as requested by internal teams. Including but not limited to:
    • Assist in design, development and launch of programs. Program digital media banner ads, static and animated or work with agencies to accomplish.
    • Develop email, social, phone and website tracking through integration with website, CRM/Marketing Automation Tool and Salesforce.
  • Assist with members website backend and the Palmetto Bluff app.
  • Liaise between agency partners that provide support for new website development and features, digital tools, content, reporting and general web support.
  • Program, execute and analyze email campaigns to improve both sales and club-based communications.
    • Oversee and manage Email Marketing Schedule.
    • Manage best practices for programming and sends of all.
    • Design & program and/or update auto-response and drip campaign email content.
  • Manage SEO/SEM strategy, content, ads and landing page generation.
    • Leverage real estate and club marketing initiatives and product launches in SEM advertising.
    • Manage programmatic and IP targeting initiatives.
    • Manage internal tracking in CRM.
    • Report on key metrics.
  • Oversee and manage Social Media Schedule in conjunction with the team and advise on best practices and content.
    • Assist with distribution of social media content
  • Contribute to efficiency and effectiveness by offering suggestions and participating as an active member of the team.
  • Stays up-to-date on latest trends in technology, development, websites, and competitor activity.
  • Assist in training team members and staff on new tools and best practices.


BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Web Development or related field.
  • 5+ Years of marketing and/or digital experience including strong knowledge of HTML, & CSS. JavaScript and PHP experience a bonus.
  • Experience working on both the design & development in a project-based environment.
  • Knowledge of HTML/Email templating best practices, including CAN-SPAM rules & regulations
  • Proficient knowledge of website architectures and functionality, Google Ads and Google Analytics. Knowledge of CRAFT CMS a bonus
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems and data analysis. Salesforce (Propertybase) and Hubspot experience a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite Google & Microsoft products.
  • Expert in project and task management.
  • Ability to deliver high quality work, quickly, in a dynamic organization under time pressure.
  • Demonstrated success in creating real impact within a networked, cross-organizational environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
