Cancellation Policy

If it is necessary to change or cancel your appointment, please do so prior to 6:00pm the evening before your scheduled service to avoid being charged in full.

Gratuities

In appreciation of outstanding service, gratuities may be given to the staff at your discretion. An amount of 18% is customary.

Late Arrivals

We regret that a late arrival for your spa appointment will deprive you of valuable treatment time.

What to Wear

A robe, sandals and locker will be provided upon your arrival. You will be properly draped during your treatment.

A heated, horizon lap pool with breathtaking views of the May River entice a dip. A modern Fitness Center with floor-to-ceiling windows and high-end cardio and strength-training equipment makes your workout a breeze. And a welcoming movement studio for spinning, yoga and Pilates classes encourages you to break a sweat.

RIVER HOUSE

Located adjacent to the swimming pool and River House, the Fitness Center features spectacular views of the May River and the surrounding Lowcountry wilderness. Enjoy an array of Precor treadmills, bicycles, and elliptical machines, as well as strength-training equipment.

CANOE CLUB

Located within the Canoe Club complex, the Fitness Center offers spectacular views of the May River and offers treadmills, bicycles, elliptical machines with built in televisions, as well as strength training equipment. Personal trainers can be scheduled.

Plus, the perfect complement to a day spent exploring our Lowcountry wilderness, the expansive swimming pool and Jacuzzi encourage relaxation and fun. Slip into the soft salt waters of the horizon pool, where lap lanes offer a serene workout, or simply breathe in the fresh maritime air from the soothing, bubbling Jacuzzi.

YOGA, PILATES, SPINNING

Newbie Spinning

This is a perfect class for anyone new to spinning and wanting a new workout. You will learn bike set-up and hand positions, and enjoy a low intensity workout.

Pilates Body Sculpt

This class incorporates balls, bands, and Pilates rings into basic Pilates exercises in order to strengthen your core muscles. Each class will focus on proper body alignment, breathing, coordination and relaxation. Great class for beginners and veterans.

Spinning

Throughout the class, the instructor will cue participants to change the resistance to simulate going up and down hills and will even get out of the seat to "climb" or sprint. You control the resistance, thus, the intensity of the workout.

T.B.C. (Total Body Conditioning)

This class is a full body resistance training session and the instructor will guide you through a total body workout using a combination of hand weights, resistance bands and tubes, fitness balls, and isolated moves.

Yoga

Yoga is a vigorous, graceful, and dynamic class that works on breathing and body movement. Yoga develops strength, flexibility, endurance, poise, and beauty.

Yoga Fusion

A fusion of the ancient disciplines of yoga and tai chi with modern Pilates techniques. The exercises mix both disciplines to develop core strength, help tone muscles, increase flexibility, and reduce stress.
