For more than 20 years, Warren Florence has taught and written about tennis. As a past Editor and Chief of Tennis Industry Magazine in New York, Warren traveled the country in search of interesting teaching techniques, exemplary business models and astonishing tennis courts. As a frequent contributor to TENNIS magazine (both in front and behind the camera), Warren wrote about the international game, its players and celebrities. In the early days, while teaching in his hometown of Greenville, S.C., as either an assistant professional or a tennis director, Warren consulted for Dunlop Racquet Sports’ technical division. He later taught at New York’s famed Wall St. Racquet Club before moving to Beaufort, S.C., in 2001. Warren continues to work with tournament level juniors and adult leagues in private and group lessons. We trust you’ll enjoy his infectious zeal for the sport.
